Our mission is to provide sustainably grown, nutrient dense, and culturally relevant produce to the Asian-American and Pacific Islander diaspora of New York City. Growing up in an Asian household, we quickly learned that food is our primary love language and point of connection back to our families and culture. We believe in food that speaks to our heritage without sacrificing our health or environmental beliefs.
Our larger mission is to transform our local food system into one that provides equitable access to fresh and locally grown food throughout all of NYC. Despite NYC having the largest Asian population outside of Asia, less than 1% of farm owners in New York are Asian, and the majority of our produce is grown in Mexico or Florida. As our local farm and food system expands, we are here to ensure that the voices and needs of the AAPI community are being heard.
